About Sneaker Week Program

"Sneaker Week" is the major community/youth outreach effort of the Metro Denver Sports Commission Charities Board (MDSC Charities).

Sneaker Week is a program designed to provide underserved youth with access to new opportunities and experiences through sports.  Sneaker Week raises money through corporate entities and the contributions made by their employees. 

Each participating company has a Team Captain who recruits that company’s employees to contribute $5 for the privilege to wear tennis shoes to work each day during Sneaker Week. Participants will receive a green Sneaker Week bracelet to wear throughout the week.

All funds raised will benefit underserved youth in these core areas:

• Funding for athletic facility construction or revitalization
• Athletic equipment for individual youth or youth groups in need
